Eating in the New Year... 新年快乐！
Your eyes are not fooling you. At the Ma household, we ring eat in the new year. This Monday, January 26th 2009 is Chinese New Year - year of the ox.

Having had trouble sleeping this past week, I couldn’t help thinking of days gone past when a 9:30 PM bedtime was a rule of the house. This then brought forth a wave of nostalgia about my childhood and “tweenage” life - when card catalogues were essential, and we actually used legitimate print sources— that we now sadly ditch for the all powerful google.
